Tamaqua police officers routinely come to the aid of lost tractor trailer drivers in the Dutch Hill section of Tamaqua. Traveling north on West Mauch Chunk Street (SR309), many of the tractor trailer drivers, most ingoring or missing the signs to bear left, turn right (East) on East Mauch Chunk Street instead of continuing north onto SR309. Many Dutch Hill residents stated their frustration over the unusual increase of lost tractor trailers lately. Some mentioned that future bridge work on East Broad Street will only increase the amount of lost drivers. Officer Pete Wysochansky inches a tractor trailer passed a parked vehicle.
