Volunteers have been very busy over the past two months preparing the Tamaqua Historical Society Museum for major renovations planned this year. Working 12 hours some days, volunteers spent time removing garbage and heavy debris from the upstairs, main floor and downstairs to the museum. Dale Freudenberger, Historical Society President, stressed that only items with no historic value were discarded, pointing out that all items donated were kept for display. Freudenberger stated the society's appreciation to all the volunteers that have worked so hard over the past few months.
