Kunkletown man charged with DUI

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks arrested Walter Everitt, 54, of Kunkletown, for driving under the influence after a traffic stop at 9:08 p.m. March 30.

Police said he was stopped for multiple Motor Vehicle Code violations at the intersection of State Rt. 209 and Weir Lake Road in Chestnuthill Township after which time he was discovered to be under the influence.

Police said he was also found to be in possession of marijuana and pain pills.
