State police at Lehighton reported investigating a burglary and theft incidents.

The break-in occurred at a residence at 490 Getz Dawl Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County. The home was entered through a basement door that was broken. Once inside the criminals proceeded to rummage through various rooms but nothing was apparently taken. The home is owned by Lorenzo John Munroe, 57, of Norwalk, Conn.Rhonda Lynn Costenbader, 50, of Costenbader Lane, Lower Towamensing Township, reported someone gained access to her PayPal account. The incident occurred during Sept. 8-9.Patricia Jone Oliveri, 48, of 177 Victoria Arms, Apt. 16, Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone removed pain killer type medication, a necklace, and a charm bracelet from her residence. The incident occurred sometime between Sept. 14-15.
