Candidates for Jim Thorpe Area High School's homecoming king and queen have been announced. Those vying for homecoming queen include, front row from left, Bridget McFadden, Lauren Zurn, Anjelica Poalillo, Shannon Green and Amanda Petrin. Candidates for king include, back row from left, Benny Mazzella, Patrick Duvigneaud, Brian Ohl, Matt Rich and Corey Ligenza. Kasey Herman and Bob Taylor are also candidates for queen and king respectively. The 2012 Homecoming King and Queen will be announced during half-time festivities at Friday's varsity football game, when the Jim Thorpe Olympians take on the Blue Devils of Shenandoah Valley.
