Published September 24. 2012 05:05PM

Carbon Schuylkill Community Theater is getting ready for its Christmas show, the musical "Little Women."

Auditions will take place from 6-8 p.m. tonight, Monday, Sept. 24 and Thursday, Sept. 27, at H.T.O. Services, LLC, 50 W. Ridge St., Lansford. Parts are available for those of high school age and older. Those auditioning are asked to bring their best solo audition piece with accompaniment. No one will be permitted to sing a cappella. It would also be helpful to bring a monologue for the audition.

Call backs will be held Saturday, Sept. 29 from 6-9 p.m.

Potential performers are also asked to bring a six- to eight-sentence biography, written in the third person, and a schedule of conflicts for Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights, as well as Saturdays and Sundays for October, November and December.

Rehearsals will take place in either Lansford or Lehighton.

The play will be directed by Zane Bachert. Michelle Stoudt will be the musical director, and Jonathan Rodgers will be the choreographer.

"Little Women" is scheduled to be performed in December at the Lehighton Borough Annex Auditorium, located at 110 North Third St., Lehighton. There will be three shows: 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15.
