State police at Fogelsville said Craig A. Turton, 56, of Slatington, was stopped on 100 at Spring Creek Road, in a 2012 Ford E450 van when his vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2008 Mazda driven by Kimberly J. Bobenich, 45, of Macungie.

After impact Bobenich fled the scene followed by Turton and another witness, troopers said. She was finally stopped by Turton and another witness that blocked her on Foxglrove Place ad Astor Road. Troopers were then called to the scene.
