One injured in Monroe collision

One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred about 6:28 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the intersection of state routes 611 and 423, in Tobyhanna, Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Emily Moran, 29, of Archbald, Lackawanna County, was southbound on 611 in a Honda Civic while Terrence Brown, 44, of Tobyhanna, was northbound in a Ford E250 van.

At the intersection Brown turned left into Moran's path, police said, causing the vehicles to collide.

Moran was injured and taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment of minor injuries.
