Marian and Panther Valley picked up volleyball victories on Tuesday.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALLMarian-ShenandoahMarian stayed undefeated on the season, beating Shenandoah Valley, 25-10, 25-9, and 25-16, in Schuylkill League action.Mary Kate Sherkness continues to impress in her senior season, leading the Fillies with 15 kills.Grace Boyle had four kills, along with three aces and Abby O'Donnell chipped in with 24 assists.With the win Marian improves to 4-0 in league play.Panther Vy.-LourdesPanther Valley bounced back after a loss to Jim Thorpe two nights ago with a Schuylkill League sweep of Lourdes, 25-7, 25-19, 25-11.Richelle Van Horn led PV with nine kills and six assists. Marley Mikovich added 13 service points, three aces, and three kills.Kristyn Gates also helped Panther Valley (5-1; 4-0) in a winning-effort with 11 service points and five aces.Tamaqua-Pine GrovePine Grove knocked off Tamaqua in Schuylkill League volleyball action, 25-17, 25-23, 25-6.Devan Sweeney led the Raiders with six kills and three digs. Teammate Derrian Gulden added four kills.Tamaqua's JV did manage to win on the night, 2-1.
