Tuscarora man jailed in domestic
A Tuscarora, Schuylkill Township, man was jailed last week after a domestic incident at two locations.
State police at Frackville said James Coleman, 42, of the 100 block of Walnut St., was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment for incidents at his residence and along SR209 at the township and Tamaqua line.
According to troopers on Sept. 5 about 4 a.m. Coleman got involved in an argument with Rachelle Coleman, 42, at their residences during which he allegedly became physical with her, all the while making threatening comments to her.
She ran from the home and drove from the scene.
He followed in his vehicle and forced her to stop at the township and borough line. During this time he caused his vehicle to make contact with hers as she attempted to pull away.
He was arraigned on the charges before on-call District Judge James Reiley, of Pottsville, and committed to the county prison after failing to post 10 percent of $15,000 bail.
