Attains dean's list at Penn State Univ.

Brent Homcha of Nesquehoning attained the dean's list for the spring 2012 semester at Penn State University at University Park, Pa.

Brent is a senior at Penn State, majoring in mechanical engineering. He is a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity.

Brent is very active in the Penn State Dance Marathon, THON, which raises funds for the fight against childhood cancer. He had the honor to dance the 46 hour event in 2012. He also participated in numerous intermural sports and is a member of the Penn State Triathlon Club.

Brent is the son of Steve and Marg Homcha of Nesquehoning and the grandson of Frank and Helen Homcha of Nesquehoning and Joseph and Florence Fipip of Summit Hill. He is a 2008 graduate of Marian Catholic High School.
