Monroe break-in

State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County home.

Troopers said the residence of Leroy Raseley, 173 Anchorage Rd., Saylorsburg, was entered by someone who kicked in a back door. Taken from the home was about $200 in cash, a Sylvania 32-inch flat screen television, and a .22-caliber Marlin rifle.

A vehicle was observed fleeing the scene and was described as an older model, black in color, Pontiac with a white male, believed in his late 20s or early 30s, wearing dark clothing, driving. The vehicle was last seen going southbound on Ross Road, towards Kunkletown Road. The incident occurred about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28.
