The defensive standout: The Spartan defense sacked PV quarterback Matt Levitt five times.

The turning point: After the Panthers closed a first half gap to 14-6, the Spartans scored 15 points in only two drives totaling three plays.

The records: North Schuylkill is 6-3; Panther Valley is 3-6.

From the coach's mouth: Take nothing away from North Schuylkill, but we did not come out of the locker room ready to play football. Our hearts were with Richard Nase and his family. ---Panther Valley Coach Lon Hazlet
