Schuylkill theft incidents probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating two theft incidents at two Schuylkill County locations.

Troopers said Anthony Mark Snyder, 24, of Tower City, reported multiple hand and power tools were removed from a utility truck parked at his home, 2 Beagle Road, in Porter Township, sometime between 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 22, and 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Victoria Marie Morgan, 28, of 31 W. Main St., Tremont, reported someone removed $30 from her wallet. She said Tuesday, Oct. 23, about 3:30 p.m. she was at her apartment with two other individuals. When she used the bathroom the money must have been taken.

She said the two told her they had to leave and left the apartment, and headed to the village of Newtown on SR209.

Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at (570)-593-2000.
