Man's body found in Kidder

The body of a New Jersey man was found Monday evening in Kidder Township, Carbon County.
State police at Fern Ridge identified the man as Jubar Hughes, 33, of Newark. His body was found about 5 p.m. in an isolated forest area between state routes 903 and 115, east of Lake Harmony.
County coroner Bruce Nalesnik ruled Hughes' death a homicide.
Reportedly, a nearby resident found the body after spotting a fresh grave while walking in the area.
Nalesnik said the body was found about three miles off 903 in an area which has a private accessible road that connects 903 and 115.
A report indicated Hughes died of at least one gunshot wound, however, an autopsy is scheduled for today to determine the exact cause of death.
No other information was made available by police.
