The Sam Adams brewery in Foglesville, Upper Macungie Township, had to be evacuated about noon on Thursday following an explosion in the plant. A spokesperson said the explosion occurred in a boiler in the plant and was small in nature. The explosion did cause injuries to a two-man crew working inside. One of the men suffered eye irritation and the other had a bump on his head. Neither man was taken to the hospital but were treated at the scene.
