Both children and adults got the chance to look at, climb on and touch all types of trucks over the weekend during the West Penn Fire Company's Touch-A-Truck event held at their station. Trucks on-hand ranged in variety from dump trucks, tractor trailers, farm tractors, ambulances, tow trucks, off-road trucks, fire ladder trucks and so on.

In addition to food, activities, craft show and a visit from Smokey Bear, visitors were treated to an LVH MedEvac helicopter landing.

West Penn firefighter Kelly Boerner, event organizer, stated, "The children really had fun riding on and experiencing these big trucks up close." She also stated her appreciation to all the businesses and organizations that donated the trucks for the event.
