Two Halloween events for Summit Hill youngsters are planned this weekend in the Community Center.

A dance for children in grades 6 to 8 will be held Friday, Oct. 19, from 7-9 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded for scariest, funniest, most original and cutest costumes. Soft drinks and snacks will be provided.

A kids Halloween dress up-party for ages up to fifth grade will be held 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20.

There will be games and a craft for the children. Parents must be in attendance with young children.

Prizes will be awarded for scariest, funniest, most original and cutest costumes.

Monica Marshall, president of the Summit Hill Recreation Commission, said there is no charge for these events, but it is requested that each guest bring a non-perishable item for our local food pantry.
