Western Pocono Lioness Club hosts annual fashion show

"You are so Beautiful," was the theme for the 16th annual Western Pocono Lioness Club's fashion show, which took place at the Hideaway Hills Golf Club.

That theme was fulfilled, from the decorations that adorned the tables to the models in their various outfits and the overall atmosphere and fellowship of the event."Our fashion show is a wonderful event which my friends and I look forward to every year," Lioness Carol Heppa said. "My whole table has made reservations already for next year. We had a great time."Club Vice President Ruth Smith agrees."All my friends at my table have also booked for next year. I applaud all the Lioness who strive to work together to make a wonderful event."And that, too, working together, impacting those in need whether directly or indirectly through donations given to other agencies to help in-need individuals, added to the beauty of the event.Lioness Club President Virginia Lamendola announced that due to the work of the club and the generosity of the community, the Lioness Club would be returning $8,000 to the community.Beginning the event with entertainment were the Xtreme Dancers from Melody's Dance Studio in Gilbert.
