Safety survey set for Heritage Day

Published October 11. 2012 05:02PM

Tamaqua area residents can participate in a safety survey and pick up a $10 gift card to Boyer's Market during Heritage Day festivities Oct. 14.

The first 200 persons to complete a survey will be given the gift card.

The survey developed through the Tamaqua Safety Initiative asks residents about safety issues in their neighborhoods and community.

The survey can be completed at the Tamaqua Chamber of Commerce office at 114 West Broad Street and at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center at 125 Pine Street. Survey forms will be available beginning at 11:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. or until the gift cards are gone.

Only one gift card will be given to a family.

Surveys can only be completed by Tamaqua residents and must be completed onsite.

A follow-up community conversation about the results is planned.
