Three charged with Monroe break-ins

Three persons were arrested, two juveniles, for burglaries that occurred in Monroe County.

State police at Lehighton said Brenton John Slusher, 20, and two juveniles, ages 15 and 16, all from Kunkletown, have been charged in connection with two break-ins at homes along Queensway Lane, in the Robinhood Lakes development in Polk Township.

Troopers said the three broke into the homes and destroyed property inside. They also removed guns from one of the homes. The guns have been recovered, troopers said.

The three were charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, theft, and criminal conspiracy to commit the crimes charged.

Slusher has been lodged in the county prison in Snydersville.

The two juveniles have been placed in a detention center pending juvenile court action.

The incident was reported on Oct. 4 at 8:30 p.m.
