October 9, 1966 - Panther Valley came back from a 6-0 deficit scoring 20 points in the second quarter and went on to beat Shenandoah 20-12 at Lansford before 4,717 paying customers.
PV quarterback Ken Vermillion tossed three touchdown passes, all for 10 yards.
Two of the TD strikes were to Mike Winsko and the other was to Bill Pilconis.
Winsko carried 16 times for 108 yards on the ground despite his two TD catches.
Ron Zabroski had three catches for 53 yards and also booted two PAT's.
The win kept the Panthers unbeaten and in first place in the Eastern Conference Southern Division.
