Troopers said Michael Joseph Hozella, 57, of Pine Grove, parked his truck at the site about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2.

Hozella returned at the scene about 10 p.m. and dropped off his son to pick up the truck.

As the son began to pull away he realized he had no brake pressure. He was able to stop the truck without incident.

An investigation revealed the rear brake lines had been cut.
