Summit Hill woman injured in motor vehicle accident on Hometown Hill

The driver of this car was taken to the hospital this morning after crashing it on Hometown Hill (SR309) Tamaqua firefighters were called to Hometown Hill, SR309, near the Tigertsville Road intersection, around 9 a.m. Thursday after a Summit Hill woman reportedly lost control of her car, drove over a sign and crashed into the berm along the northbound lane. She was driving a 2010 Ford Focus. Crystal Kreimendahl, 26, of Summit Hill, was taken via Tamaqua Ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital in Coaldale for unknown injuries. Also responding were Rush Township and Tamaqua Police. Tamaqua Fire Police directed traffic around the area for the duration and cleanup.
