Members of the American Hose Company in Tamaqua received an award for their KME pumper truck during the 133rd annual Fireman's Association of the State of Pennsylvania convention and parade held recently in Norristown. Competing with hundreds of other trucks, the company received the convention's second place trophy for the Best Appearing and Equipped KME Pumper Apparatus, 2000 to present.
