Woman cited for defiant trespass

A Lehighton woman has been charged with defiant trespass for an incident in the borough.

Police said Crystal Dorward, 48, of 226 S. Sixth St., was cited for an incident on Sunday, Aug. 26, at about 2 p.m. Police alleged she repeatedly returned to a borough residence after being warned not to do so.

On the last return, police said, she entered the residence and locked herself in the bathroom, which resulted in her being physically removed from the home.

A preliminary hearing on the charge is scheduled for Oct. 17 at 1:45 p.m., police added.
