Domestic incident leads to arrest

A domestic incident led to the arrest of one of the participants.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to 2260 Lakeside Drive, in Tobyhanna, Coolbaugh Township, about 11:40 p.m. on Sept. 27 to a report of a domestic incident.

On scene police were met by Rocco Scavone, 30, of that address, who said he and his girlfriend, Dana Coachman, 25, got into an argument. During the argument Coachman struck Scavone in the head with a cell phone and scratched him in the midsection. Police observed a laceration to Scavone's head and scratches on his midsection.

Coachman was taken into custody and transported to the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment on a simple assault charge.
