Carbon woman cited for dog law

Published October 01. 2012 05:03PM

A Carbon County woman was cited for dog law violations.

State police at Lehighton said Jean Strubeck, 47, of Parryville, was cited following an incident that occurred on Sept. 27 about 11:40 a.m. along the Weissport Canal walking path.

She was charged for failing to control her two dogs and failing to have her two dogs vaccinated for rabies by a licensed veterinarian. Troopers said the citations were the result of her two German shepherds breaking free from her and attacking the dog of Edgar Steward, 58, of Lehighton, at the above stated location.
