Published November 30. 2012 05:02PM

Two persons were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 3:44 p.m. Nov. 21 on SR611 in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Jose Rosally, the driver of one of the vehicles, and his passenger, Andrea Pressley, both of New York, were transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, after the crash.

Police said a Kia, driven by Rosally, entered SR611 in front of a Nissan operated by Ronald Kidd, of Tannersville. Police said Kidd swerved in an attempt to avoid striking the Kia but was unable to do so and the vehicles collided.

Police said the northbound lane was shut down for a period of time while the accident was cleared.

Kidd was uninjured.
