Published November 29. 2012 05:02PM

State police at the Lehighton barracks said Timothy Quinn Parks, 25, of Saylorsburg, was committed to the Carbon County Correctional Facility, Nesquehoning, after he created a disturbance at the state police barracks on Nov. 22 at 3:40 a.m.

Police said he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol prior to the incident and was taken to the barracks for processing.

After completion, he was released to the lobby of the barracks while he waited for a ride.

Police said Parks got mad because he wanted a snack and no one had change for a $10 bill.

Police said he began punching and kicking various items in the lobby and was arrested for disorderly conduct.
