ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS A small concrete barrier and guard wire were all that prevented a large unoccupied SUV from careening into vehicles or homes around midnight Thanksgiving Eve in Tamaqua. Police were called to Elm Street after someone reported that a truck had rolled part way down Elm Street, barreling into the barrier and wires. Police said no one was in the vehicle at the time. No more information was available as of press time today. A tow truck operator carefully lifts the angled truck out of the wires.
