November 20, 1981 Joe Paluck scores a game-high 22 points, on 11-of-17 shooting, to help Panther Valley open its basketball season with a 56-48 victory over Shenandoah Valley. The Panthers, coached by Charlie Depuy, also receive 10 points and nine rebounds from Mike Marcin. Paluck, who adds seven boards, does the bulk of his damage in the third quarter when he nets 12 points. Joe Klementovic aids the win by scoring eight points and collecting seven rebounds while Mark Lazar hands out 12 assists.
