Tech-Net Professional Auto Service held its 10th Annual Fun-Raiser this past Saturday night at Penn's Peak. Members of Tech-Net were able to raise money with their annual event that consisted of a huge Chinese auction of over 130 donated items. Donations came in from many local businesses who give merchandise and gift cards to help create this very popular portion of the evening.

The evening is always full of things to do. The auction opened the event for two hours, followed by a great comedy show.

Scott Bruce, owner of Wise Crackers Comedy Club, always brings in the big guns to keep people laughing every year. This year Scott brought Sherry Davey whose British delivery kept the crowd in stitches. This year's headliner was Kevin Meaney who kept the crowd falling off their seats. Kevin gave such a high energy performance that people are still talking about it.

The band once again was Big Things. These guys gave a non-stop live show that filled the dance floor for three hours. Big Things gives from the heart.

Tech-Net Professional Auto Service raised $17,000 at the event. Dream Come True received a donation of $13,000 and local fire companies raised $4,000 through their participation.

Members of Tech-Net are a special group of people who run their businesses and still find time to donate every year to Dream Come True.

The planning for this wonderful event starts in March and is worked on until the day of the big show. Members of Tech - Net who make this event possible are: Bernhard's Service Center, Stan Graver's Sales, Pencor, Blue Ridge Service and Tire Centers, Hearn Enterprises, Riverside Service Center, Henry's Service, C&H Automotive, Wentz Car Care, Tony's Garage, Edgewood Service Center, Pocono Auto Mart, Yosty's Auto Service, Family Auto, C.A. Schuler and Sons, All Points Towing and Recovery and McFarland's Garage.

In 10 years since this event began, $127,000 has been donated by Tech- Net Professional Auto Service and its guest of this great event.
