A Hometown man faces charges following an incident in Tamaqua on Tuesday.

Police were dispatched at 10:35 a.m. to the former Anchor Deep building, in the area of Spruce and South Railroad streets, for a reported assault.

On scene, they spoke with the property manager, David Yanacek of Tamaqua.

Yanacek told Chief Dave Mattson that he had been punched in the face by a tenant who was operating an automotive repair shop.

The tenant was identified as Anthony Chesla, 28, of 55 Wayne Ave., Tamaqua R.D. A witness corroborated Yanacek's report and also stated he had been having trouble getting his vehicle back from Chesla.

Chesla will be cited for harassment.
