A Lehigh County driver was charged following a one vehicle crash that occurred about 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, along SR143 (Decatur St.), in Lynn Township.

State police at Fogelsville said Danielle E. Hollinger, 49, of New Tripoli, was driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee westbound during heavy rain.She swerved onto the north shoulder and struck a cement bridge abutment with the front end. She was able to drive off the road and park in the lot at the New Tripoli Fire Company.Hollinger was not injured but her passenger, Ted R. Hollinger, New Tripoli, sustained a minor injury but did not require immediate medical attention.Troopers said Hollinger was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
