Published November 12. 2012 05:05PM

One person sustained what troopers called major injuries in a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 9:58 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, along SR183 in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Anita E. Kozlowski, 50, of Ringtown, was driving a 2003 Toyota 4Runner southbound when she lost control on the wet road. Troopers said Kozlowski then overcompensated by steering to the right which caused the Toyota to overturn.

After overturning the Toyota left the road and hit a hilly embankment. It traveled about 100 feet overturning an unknown amount of times before coming to final rest facing west along the southbound berm.

A passenger, Michael J. Aimone, 53, of Philadelphia, sustained major injuries and was taken to a Pottsville area hospital. Kozlowski sustained minor injuries, troopers said.

Troopers said Kozlowski was cited for speeding.
