Each year the Concourse Club of Palmerton honors five Guiding Stars from Palmerton Area High School. The Guiding Star is chosen by a committee of high school teachers in the district.

She is active at school in basketball as co-captain, field hockey, track and field, student council as president, Future Business Leaders of America as president, yearbook as vice president, Leo Club as vice president, National Honor Society as vice president, Environmental Club and Student Forum.

Her community involvement is youth representative on church council and an altar server.
