November 3, 1967 Palmerton breaks a scoreless tie in the second half and goes on to post a 13-0 win over Bangor. The Blue Bombers use an 80-yard drive in the third quarter to get on the scoreboard. Steve Goidich breaks free for runs of 38 and 19 yards before concluding the march with a five-yard touchdown run. The winners add an insurance tally in the final frame when a turnover eventually leads to a one-yard scoring plunge by Walt Konek. Palmerton's defense allows only six first downs in posting the shutout win.
