A Schuylkill County man has been jailed for violating Megan's Law.

State police at Frackville said Donald George Ignjatovic, 21, of Minersville, was arrested at his place of employment on Tuesday, May 15, about 1 p.m. for failure to verify his residence and update additional information as required by Megan's Law. Ignjatovic is a convicted sexual offender and is required to register for life under the provisions of the law.

Troopers said Ignjatovic has resided at numerous non-registered locations in Shenandoah, Pottsville and Minersville.

He was arraigned before on-call District Judge Christina Hale, of Frackville, on a charge of failure to comply with registration of sexual offender requirements, a felony two. He was committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post $25,000 straight cash bail set by Hale.
