Top SAT scorers honored by Tamaqua School Board
KATHY KUNKEL/TIMES NEWS Members of the Tamaqua Class of 2012 who scored 600 or better on any segment of the SAT test include: Tyler Groner, Anthony Iacoviello, Joshua Nemeth, Tanner Urban, Amber Heffelfinger, Heidi Wagner, Erin Fegley and Jacqueline McMullen.
Tamaqua Area Senior High School students who scored 600 or better on any portion of their SAT tests were honored at a recent meeting of the Tamaqua Area School Board of Education. The college preparatory test is composed of three parts - critical reading, writing and math.
Six students scored 600 or more in all three segments of the test - Suzanne Arner, Tyler Butkus, Lauren Christ, Anthony Iacoviello, Caroline Kanaskie and Dakota Vadimsky.
Students who scored 600 or better in the math section include: Emily Demyanovich, Tyler Groner, Kayla Hope, Dylan Houser, Nicole Mateyak, Jacqueline McMullen, Hannah Miller, Gabrielle Minehan, Joshua Nemeth, Taylor Urban and Heidi Wagner. In the reading and/or writing category, high scorers include: Dana Ansbach, Joann Butkus, Danielle Fox, Erin Fegley, Amber Heffelfinger, Haleigh Jacob, Joshua Miller, Gabrielle Minehan, Jordan Reabold and Heidi Wagner.
