Four TIMES NEWS Area baseball and six softball teams have qualified for the District 11 tournament, scheduled to get underway with Class 4A baseball first round games this afternoon.

Pleasant Valley's baseball team begins action today as the 11th seed in Class 4A and travels to Northampton for a 4:30 start.In Class 3A, action begins with quarterfinal round games with No. 4 Northwestern Lehigh hosting No. 5 North Schuylkill and No. 2 seed Lehighton at home with No. 7 Southern Lehigh.In Class A, the No. 4 seed Marian Colts entertain No. 5 seed Notre Dame of East Stroudsburg in 4:30 starts.On the softball side, the Class A quarterfinals will be played tomorrow with No. 5 Weatherly visiting No. 4 Mahanoy Area and No. 6 Marian traveling to No. 3 Minersville in 4 p.m. starts. The Weatherly-Mahanoy Area winner will meet No. 1 seed Williams Valley at 7 p.m. at Blue Mountain on Thursday.
