Friends of the late Nick Zeigler, 21, of Tamaqua, are holding a benefit Saturday to help his family with various expenses. Zeigler died April 29 following a tragic vehicle accident that occurred the day before in Lewistown Valley, Walker Township. Zeigler was a 2010 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School. He also attended L.C.C.C and was employed at Allen Tech, Inc. in Allentown.

Friends stated that Nick was known to spend a lot of his time at the Tamaqua Child Care Center, where he was known as "Mr. Nick."

Family members and friends pointed out that Nick enjoyed numerous outdoor activities, to include fishing, hunting, snowboarding and so on. Loved ones recalled memories of Nick taking his younger siblings fishing.

Brianne Curvey, Nick's soulmate for two years, will further remember Nick during future plans she will carry out in his memory.

The benefit, which will last from noon to 2 a.m. at the West Penn Rod and Gun Club in Clamtown, will consist of many activities, such as a chinese auction, face paint for the kids, food and so on. Music will be donated by Dakota and Sean McGeehan, Jay Smarr, DJ Brandon Fritz, Rippleflow and DJ Big Show.

For more information about the event, visit the event page on Facebook or call the club, 1047 Clamtown Road, at (570) 386-1123. Organizers are asking everyone to come and show their support for a great person, stating, "Nick will live forever in all the hearts of everyone he has touched."
