Mike Pandolfo made the last call 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon when he closed the Jonas Hotel for the last time. Pandolfo, one of the owners, decided to shut down the 111 year old establishment citing the strict DUI laws and the present economy. The Jonas Hotel has been an established watering hole for years serving the locals of Polk township and the transients traveling through SR534 enroute to the Pocono mountains.
