Two persons were cited following an incident at a tavern in Jim Thorpe.

Borough police said about 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, they observed a disturbance in front of Crocodile Lyle's, 212 Center St. Police were told by the tavern owner, Lyle Augustine, that two of his patrons were asked to leave and not to return for creating several disturbances inside the bar.

The two patrons were identfied as Adam Ceykovsky, 24, of 1224 Olive Rd., Danielsville, and Samantha M. Rex, 23, of 129 Coal St., Lehighton. Police said both were manifestly under the influence of alcohol and told to make arrangements for a ride and not to return to the bar.

About 20 minutes later police were called back to the bar for a fight in progress. Upon arrival police were informed by Augustine that Ceykovsky returned to the bar and was involved in a verbal argument that turned physical outside.

Ceykovsky was placed under arrest and charged with persistent disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Rex was cited for public drunkenness, police added.
