'Silver Ribbon Month' set by Schuylkill group

Schuylkill Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance, Inc. (SEAPA, Inc.) will sponsor "Silver Ribbon Month" as a means to educate the public about the crime of elder abuse.

One in five seniors will experience some form of abuse in their lifetimes. It is the mission of the alliance to educate the general public, report all allegations of abuse, and to work with local authorities to prosecute the perpetrators to the fullest extent of the law.
