Three arrested for kidnapping

Three persons were arrested over the weekend charged in a kidnapping incident in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said the incident occurred about 5:27 p.m. on Saturday, April 28.

Officers were dispatched to Joe's Quik Mart in White Haven for a report of a kidnapping.

As a result of an investigation police learned that a 35-year-old male was taken from the Wawa store in Blakeslee about 5 p.m. and transported to the quik mart.

As a result police arrested Denis Lyttle, 37, and Thomas Graham, 39, both of Bushkill, and Noel Lyttle, 27, of Freeland. Police also said firearms were recovered. The investigation is ongoing.

The three suspects were arraigned before a district judge. Denis Lyttle and Graham were charged with kidnapping, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, criminal use of a communication facility, recklessly endangering another person and criminal conspiracy-to commit kidnapping.

Noel Lyttle was charged with criminal conspiracy to commit kidnapping, criminal use of a communication facility and possession of instruments of crime.
