Members of the Tamaqua Area Animal Rescue (TAAR) are holding their 5th annual dog walk this Saturday starting at 12 p.m. at the Newkirk Tunnel Environmental Education area along SR209 outside Tamaqua. The walk, which follows the Schuylkill Valley Heritage Trail, will benefit activities and future goals of the TAAR. Registration begins at 11 a.m. Rain date is Sunday at 12 p.m. For more information, visit them on Facebook.
