In celebration of School Library Month and National Library Week, Lehighton Area High School recently hosted a "Library Tea."

"We thought it would be a nice way to thank the teachers, staff, and students for using our school library," said librarian Jo Lynn Gazo.

Refreshments were available throughout the school day in the library.

Gazo said the event was a way to properly thank those who help in the library, especially library assistant, Daralyn Behler.

Adding to this special event, junior Zach Hartman donated his painting of a flower to the library. The painting was his graduation project.
