Criminal mischief in Lansford

Lansford police are investigating numerous acts of criminal mischief which occurred at the mid-rise building at 430 E. Bertsch St. Within the past week, two vehicles and the mid-rise building had windows shattered by what appeared to be a BB gun.

The first incident was reported on April 21 at 2:05 p.m. The victim reported her driver-side rear window was shattered. On April 23 at 6:58 a.m., another victim reported her driver-side window was shattered. On April 25 at 1:30 p.m., a report was made that two windows were damaged on the mid-rise building.

Also, numerous household items were thrown into the parking lot of the complex. On April 26 at 10:55 a.m., a victim reported her vehicle was damaged for the second time. Damage was observed to the windshield and fender of the vehicle. Police have a suspect and charges will be filed as a result of the incidents.
