Schuylkill vehicle break-ins probed

Three vehicles were entered in the Schuylkill County community of Palo Alto. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the entries occurred sometime between 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, and 6 a.m. on Wednesday. All the entries occurred along Savory St.

Keith Thomas, 23, of 66 Savory, reported his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, was entered and removed was a $100 Garmini GPS unit which was in the glove box; Mildred Dronitsky, 69, of 59 Savory, reported her 2003 Mercury Sable LS was entered and removed was $1 in U.S. currency and $2 in parking tokens for the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., parking lot; and Stacia Scheitrum, 36, of 166 Savory, said her 2004 Ford Freestar van was entered and removed was a $25 Magnum hunting knife with green and red handle, which was in the glove box.

Troopers noted all the vehicles were unlocked. Anyone with information concerning these incidents is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
