Schuylkill vehicle break-ins probed

Three vehicles were entered in the Schuylkill County community of Palo Alto. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the entries occurred sometime between 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, and 6 a.m. on Wednesday. All the entries occurred along Savory St.

Keith Thomas, 23, of 66 Savory, reported his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, was entered and removed was a $100 Garmini GPS unit which was in the glove box; Mildred Dronitsky, 69, of 59 Savory, reported her 2003 Mercury Sable LS was entered and removed was $1 in U.S. currency and $2 in parking tokens for the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., parking lot; and Stacia Scheitrum, 36, of 166 Savory, said her 2004 Ford Freestar van was entered and removed was a $25 Magnum hunting knife with green and red handle, which was in the glove box.Troopers noted all the vehicles were unlocked.
